Abstract
Solar energy is taken into consideration as the promising alternative for the future energy demands to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from fossil fuel resources and to slow the depletion of limited energy resources. This paper presents a method on how to design a DC/AC inverter suitable for photovoltaic applications with focuses on minimizing the power losses and the cost.
