This study aimed to identify the advantages and problems of using Internet in accounting research by accounting Lecturers at Libyan universities. In order to achieve study objectives, Descriptive Analytical Method was used. In addition, questionnaires were utilized to collect study data from study population. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze study data and to arrive study results. The findings showed that there are many benefits that may get when using Internet in accounting research such as speed access to the sources literature, whether in Arabic or English. Moreover, this study recommended that should support accounting lecturers in using Internet services, and should university provide a free access to the internet, and provide a continuous training for lecturers.
